The only negative things I have to say about the game are that it's too easy (hard difficulty level wasn't challenging enough for me) and that the original game was probably not old enough to justify a remake. Issac also finally talks, and we get a really nice explanation to his visions of Nicole. In addition, side missions have been added, which deepen your understanding of Nicole's and Mercer's stories. You can now hover in zero-g areas (like in Dead Space 2), and the Ishimura is now an "open world" space station (kinda like in Alien Isolation), so you can travel across different areas freely (mostly for side missions and collectibles, though). The resolution and mouse acceleration issues from the original game have been fixed. Dead Space Remake is technically better in every way and form compared to the original game. I played all the original games (including Dead Space Extraction via a Wii emulator) and watched the animated films.
